I sense that meditation puts the mind into a better "default" state. I feel more alert and calm. I feel like this state of mind encourages openness.
I am just a beginner, so, I may be back with more insight later.
For now mindfulness meditation. I beleive this is also called Vipassana meditation.
Currently, I sit for 15 minutes. I want to up this to 30 minutes in the near future.
I have only sat once (just started). But I want to sit every day (at least once). I would like to sit in the morning.
