60 minute meditation journal

Sleepy but also strangely powerful, like the sleep sit the day before. That felt like nothing at the time but to a lot of stuff surfacing post-sit. I think maybe when my mind is sleepy there is somehow more space for the sitting to just work itself. This is part of the reason for long sitting schedules on retreats starting early. 

Today's sit was late after an evening out. I set the timer for 30 minutes but although I'd been sitting sleepily, when the timer went off suddenly the sit got intense with deep questions appearing. Stopping then wasn't an option so I set the timer for another 30 minutes and then found more informal 'sitting' happening later while in bed.
