42 minute meditation journal

Evening sit. 
Things feel different still after the sit I did at the New Year. I feel a lot more peaceful and I can feel a gentle energy flowing nearly all of the time. I have been sorting through old photos of my student time and find the way I touch my memories has transformed. I never turn away from them in pain. I feel each one wholeheartedly and as I do so I can feel some kind of healing in my body. As I was sitting I was still revisiting some memories and passing seemlessly through joy and grief, love. I did experience a pause with some of the more painful emotions but none of them got stuck.  I started and ended with 27 bows and then the kannon sutra.
