Walking in the Woods

Sometimes I write things down in an effort to remember. I used to keep hold of EVERYTHING scrap of paper I wrote on - documents filed in folders on my computer. Then I would go back into these documents and drown in the words. IMPOSSIBLE. So I stopped doing that. However, WRITING IT DOWN gets it out of my head. WRITING IT DOWN enables me to FORM the image. If I don't WRITE IT DOWN, the images joins the stream of universal consciousness, it swirls into the pool, and I lose track of it...
Yesterday, I walked in a nearby woods. It's early December, so the trees are almost bare. These are old trees, virgin trees. They are very tall, and most of these trees' branches don't reach out until the very top of the forest, the ceiling...
So what I mostly see are the sleek majestic gray or dark brown bodies, the TRUNKS of the tree...
I have often talked about there being a vibration between trees that stand close together. For some reason trees that are similar grow close together - it's like twin-ing.
However, I don't know if people GET IT, when I try to describe that. I think they think I'm nuts or too fanciful.
However...
Yesterday I decided to look at the space between the trees - the void.
It was like looking into a portal.
I kid you not -- what I saw, I "felt" there - in that void...
Was a presence. Energy.
You can feel the LIFE in these trees if you only pay attention.
So I guess you'd say - my walks in the woods are my true meditations...
