45 minute meditation journal

Sitting went well. My mind is getting used to spacious open awareness; letting the thoughts drift by and not grasping at them. Posture was good, no sleepy legs just pain in the knees but quite bearable for the 45 minutes. I am really enjoying my practice and feel it is valuable to my life circumstances. It is helping me ungrasp the feeling of desire. I think that's what I struggle with most- I find it easy to drop fear and anger but desire sticks in my mind. I want to be less of a consumer and meditation is helping in that aim. I'm so glad Sarah suggested Treeleaf, it has been quite perfect for me and just what I need. Thank you. I am almost through with the intro videos which I have enjoyed immensely. I recommend the website for any Zen student.
