Evening sit. MOB. Found an app were I can set timer intervals, used that this time.

Oh, don't we all! It is so easy to look back with "why didn't I?"s. However, I've come to see that the years I spent not sitting were sort of preparatory work for sitting (thawing out a little into life, settling into my own skin, my mind calming down considerably). Without that I don't think I could have faced myself and my demon in silence on a cushion. I'd have run a mile!
