Microcosm reflects the Macrocosm, and why I choose the Mockingbird (as my profile photo)...

If you walk in Nature, as I do, you learn quickly, that LOOKING at things in the environment reflects your life... if you have something bugging you and you can't find an answer, take a walk and LOOK at things.  You will find your answer.  Nature reflects us.  The Microcosm reflects the Macrocosm.  I'm not the only person who thinks this is so - you can tell by all the clues (on the Internet) on what certain aspects of Nature SYMBOLIZE.

In particular, I like the birds, a lot.  Maybe I found a kindred soul[s] in birds, i.e. the wish to SOAR.
I'm not alone.
However, let's take it one step further.  I don't feel connect to the earth.  I've tried to find a spiritual animal totem that walks the ground, dwells in the woods, etc.  However, it is the BIRDS that draw me...
I'm not alone.
I like the spiritual symbolism of the Mockingbird - INDIVIDUAL.  FEARLESS.  A BIT CRAZY.
Well, you'd have to be crazy in your courage if you fight off a Hawk.
Mockingbirds do.
I think they are thought of as INDIVIDUALISM because they signify - FIND YOUR SONG.
Mockingbirds are the true mimics of the bird worlds.
They are also clowns.
My kind of people. :)

Well, it was hard to meditate today.  However, I was determined that I would SIT DOWN and contemplate.  And so I did.
Can we heal through meditation?
I firmly believe so.
Namaste.

(Oh, what happened as I meditate was that I thought about the Mockingbird - so that's why I wrote about it! :)
