Akashic and Whirling Dervishes...

I think the Whirling Dervishes have to do with the Sufi spiritual path.  Has to do with NOTHING regarding my meditation today, except that I saw a program this morning about the Sufi path, and saw the Whirling Dervishes in action.  I like dance and movement as a technique to reach a spiritual level.  One thing they mentioned was that the dancer raises the right hand up towards the sky, inviting spiritual grace in, and extends his or her left hand down to the earth, i.e. delivering the vital spiritual energy to the earth.  So the dancer is a vessel sacrificing him or herself for the sake of purifying/saving the earth.  I like this concept.  I also was tickled to find out that there are FEMALES on the Sufi path, i.e. FEMALE Whirling Dervishes.  Again, nothing to do with my meditation except - I think processing one's thoughts and putting those thoughts down on paper is important.  It is a way to KEEP the impression.  If you don't write it down, you may lose that thought.  Of course, then, in the past, I would write down TOO MANY thoughts, and lose track of all those "ideas".  So the writing, this journal keeping is part of the process.  I hope it sticks.  I may try the hand (right up, left extended down) and slowly whirling, GIVING to the Earth, because I want the Earth to be healed.  SAVE US.  Oh, as I meditated I practiced holding my stomach, lower extremities, muscles IN once more.  I think I'm on the right track doing that...  (Oh yeah, I also heard someone talking as I was meditating - that was startling.  It's just me!)
