THE PAIN, BOSS THE PAIN... (substitute plane for pain, and you should know who I am somewhat quoting... :)

I am having a fundamental problem with sitting at this computer and meditating - when I sit too long in this chair, with my bending... my left upper thigh goes numb.  I'm not kidding about the PAIN.
However, I know this is something I need to work through.  I like contemplating the Mandela.  I like listening to the music.
Maybe another headphone, a longer one, so that I can sit farther from the computer, and cross my legs as I meditate.
I'll try that.
I found myself thinking, about how an author I respect showed up at an Internet site, (Facebook).  I was respectful, i.e. I didn't want to go EEEK, IT'S YOU...  but at the same time, I felt shy about saying anything on the subject he's an expert on (not kidding.  I've had his book for thirty years!)  Such a thrill, to acknowledge a master, "face to face", ha, ha, get it FACEBOOK.  :)
I also meditate in the morning, right after I wake up.  I listen to meditative music, and try to go into a trance, i.e., the concept being that this is first thoughts journal.  Sometimes I can't remember my dreams as clearly as I want to... So doing this meditation, while I'm still half asleep, is my way of endeavoring to retrieve my dreams.
But I want to get better at this meditating - I LOVE the concept of meditating on a Mandela.
So here I sit.  I definitely am going to use a longer cord head phone.

Namaste.
