25 minute meditation journal

Committed to sitting for a longer period today.  I normally 'give out' before the timer goes off.

Instead, I watched the thoughts, memories and distractions that were bombarded at me to try to get me to quit.

In particular, lots of random memories.

It seems it takes a good 15 minutes before I can start to settle down.  And 15 mins is normally the duration of a sit for me.

Feeling calm.



Longer sits are great for letting the mind settle and allowing us to see/feel what goes on underneath our surface thoughts. Good to do when you can :)
