Working on metta more so now.

It has struck me that for most of my life I have not shown myself any compassion.  And that inability to show compassion to myself means it is very difficult to feel compassion for others.

Will keep working on this.  No feeling whatsoever from this session,


If you have a tendency to be harsh on yourself, to beat yourself up then it will take time to let in self-compassion. Be patient and maybe try to apply it outside of sitting too. If you can start to notice all the times that you treat yourself in a way that you would not dream of treating other people, if you can start to see some of the storylines you tell yourself about yourself then that can help. It doesn't change just because you see it but that's a start.
