10 minute meditation journal

First day of meditation in a while. Trying for 10 minutes in the morning, before anything else. I used a guided meditation app (Simply Being). I am looking for more references and resources to learn more about the various practices, as this is something I would like to get more into.

I did not feel necessarily distracted today, but noticed several themes where my mind would go (things to do today, recent experiences with friends)...


Welcome to the site. You can pick up lots of ideas about different resources from people's posts but as you get an idea what types of meditation might interest you most. You'll find people from a wide range of traditions and none on here. Ask away and I'm sure one of us might be able to help. Enjoy your sitting :)
